Gary Carlow’s sunrise sets at Camp Lamp during Firefly have become quite the tradition. This year was even more special considering the last Firefly took place in 2019.
I’ll admit that I rarely make it to the sunrise set. However, my campmate and close friend, DJ Scott Carlson had been waiting since 2019 for this occasion. Here’s what Scott had to say:
“At my first Firefly, I saw Gary close it out with the sunrise set, and will never forget that vibe and that feeling I left with. There’s something cathartic about dancing in the woods until the sun rises to tribal drums and hypnotic melodies. I left feeling invigorated, my tension released, and reminded that good house music is more than just music, it’s a feeling.” – DJ Scott Carlson
